Evidence over opinion

The EX Excellence Maturity Assessment (EXMA) is a 3-day ICXI certification that develops expert assessment and diagnostic capability for employee experience. Most EX programmes teach what good looks like; EXMA teaches how to assess, evidence and score it, using the EEI EX Index: 12 strands of employee experience, with 10 questions per strand built on the QERE methodology (Question, Explanation, Reasoning, Evidence), 120 questions in all, each scored on a 1 to 5 maturity scale.

How it fits the Academy pathway

EX Excellence Maturity Assessment is the employee experience assessment certification of the ICXI Academy. EX, HR, OD or CX leadership or consulting experience is expected, and the CX Foundation Course, the CX Professional Diploma or Employee Experience for CX Leaders (EXCXL) is recommended before you join. It sits alongside CX Consulting Professional and ICXI Accredited Assessor Training; the CX Excellence Maturity Assessment applies the same method to customer experience, and the Government EX Excellence Maturity Assessment (GEXMA) covers public-sector organisations. Certified assessors join an active ICXI EX assessor community for ongoing CPD and peer support. If you want ICXI to assess your organisation rather than train your own assessors, see the Employee Experience Assessment.
